Medications and vitamin supplements are delivered directly into their bloodstream via a small catheter, which is connected to intravenous (IV) fluid.
During therapy, an IV line is inserted into a Hartmanns or saline bag. The bag is then raised over the client’s head. IV treatment bags are intended to allow gravity rather than a syringe or other forced approach to carry fluid into the veins over time.
The length of one treatment varies from person to person, but it generally lasts 30 to 45 minutes. The timings for our NAD IV treatments are longer; they typically last 2-3 hours each session.

The IV drip is a crucial part of modern medical care, as it ensures proper hydration and nutrition for clients in need. It also provides medication or other compounds that may not be able to enter the body any other way.
The flow rate of an IV depends on multiple factors, such as the volume of fluids being administered, whether the client has had prior experience with IV drips, and their current medical condition. As such, it can take anywhere from 45 minutes up to several hours for a complete infusion session.
The length of time an IV drip takes does not necessarily indicate pain or discomfort associated with the process; rather, it is more dependent on individual circumstances than anything else. While some individuals may feel slight sensations during insertion or throughout treatment due to variations in vein size and pressure differences between veins and arteries, overall most people find that these feelings are quite minimal.
IV drip treatment is popular with people wanting to be stronger and healthier, recover from illnesses faster, as well as a number of other health targets and goals.
IV drip therapy may benefit a variety of individuals who are nutrient deficient, including students, families, business professionals, and athletes.

IV drips are generally considered to be a painless procedure. This is because the needle used for insertion into the vein is very small and thin. Furthermore, at Infusion IV they are administered only by registered health professionals who have received extensive training in provision of intravenous fluids.
The technique employed when inserting an IV drip also helps reduce potential pain. The RN inserts the IV cannula with gentle pressure against the skin, using a slow and steady motion that allows them to accurately find and access a vein without causing excessive trauma or irritation to the client’s skin.
